Description
The Arc Tampa Bay is searching for multiple Behavior Analysis positions. One BCBA to supervise our ABA Clinic and one BCBA/BCaBA with our adult ID/D population.
BCBA - ABA Clinic
Under the direction of the Senior Day Services Director, the Behavior Analyst will supervise, coordinate, and monitor Behavior Analysis Services, within the ABA Clinic, to children with ASD, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities.
BCBA/BCaBA - Adult Population
Under the direction of the Clinical Director of the Behavior Department, the BCBA/BCaBA will provide direct and indirect services, develop, implement, monitor and revise behavior plans for assigned consumers. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that behavior plans are in compliance with 65G-8 of the Florida Administrative codes. Also responsible for compliance with APD, Medicaid Waiver, and Core Assurances standards.
Requirements
BCBA - ABA Clinic
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of individualized ABA treatment plans for children with autism and related developmental disorders.
- Lead and mentor a team of RBTs, and clinical staff; conduct performance evaluations and promote professional growth.
- Monitor treatment integrity, client progress, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure clinical practices are compliant with BACB guidelines and state regulations.
- Provide parent training, support caregiver collaboration, and help generalize treatment goals across environments.
- Assist with staff onboarding and continuous training efforts.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to overall clinic strategy and growth.
- Communicate professionally with families, staff, and external partners.
BCBA/BCaBA - Adult Population
Key Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings
- Perform direct observations and monitor the implementation of behavior analysis service plans (BASP) for procedural integrity and treatment efficacy
- Train caregivers/staff on BASP to ensure positive behavioral supports and a proactive approach are being utilized and implemented
- Monitor and provide feedback to caregivers/staff on Implementation of BASP
- Track, enter and analyze data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Write and update BASPs based on expectations set forth In FL Statute 65G-4
- Present BASPs to LRC annually or as needed
- Submit monthly reports and billing In a timely manner
- Complete and submit documents required for annual Behavior Analysis Services Eligibility requests
- Manage caseload of consumers across a variety of Arc locations
- Complete functional behavior assessments and create formal BASPs, as necessary
- Attend monthly departmental meetings, psych appts, support plan meetings, etc.
- Keep current on trainings and certification requirements
- Frequent communication with consumer circle of supports
