Description
We are seeking a New York State Limited Permit-Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic group practice. The ideal candidates will work collaboratively with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling services. This position offers the opportunity to generate field hours, while also receiving mentorship and mandated supervision. Requirements
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with the group practice clinical supervisor, medical providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay informed about current mental health trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.
- Participate in case consultations, and supervision.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a New York State, Limited Permit-Mental Health Counselor.
- Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
- Bi-lingual Spanish speaking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
