In addition, many of our clinicians are involved in writing projects such as co-authoring user-friendly workbooks or assisting in the dissemination of high-quality consumer education through our Webzine.
Job Description:
Light On Anxiety's post-doctoral fellows receive the advanced clinical training, education and supervision needed to become leaders in anxiety treatment. The 1 year program provides support with the licensure process and professional development opportunities, including supervision. The post-doc's primary responsibility is conducting neuropsychological testing services.
Training Activities Include:
- One hour of weekly individual supervision
- One hour of weekly group supervision
- Participation in Light On Anxiety's Clinical Training Institute
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide child, adolescent and adult clients with neuropsychological assessment services, including clinical interviews, assessment administration, data integration, report writing and feedback sessions
- Administer and score neuropsychological measures, identify appropriate normative values and interpret results
- Prepare and write user-friendly neuropsychological reports for clients summarizing assessment findings and actionable recommendations
- Communicate and consult with members of each client’s care team (legal guardians, families, and other internal and external parties) as necessary and appropriate
- Provide resources, support, and referrals to external services when appropriate
- Complete documentation and administrative requirements in a timely and thorough manner
- Complete all required trainings
- Actively seek continuing education to stay informed of all evidence-based treatment protocols for anxiety and related disorders
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance during all interactions with clients and stakeholders
- Serve as LOA Ambassador and effectively represent LOA culture, expectations, offerings and policies to internal and external stakeholders
- Make positive contributions to the Practice’s culture
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule: - Flexible work arrangements, including one fully virtual day
- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
- 1 weekend day required

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, school counseling or related field
- Interest in specializing in CBT for Anxiety
